Billing Information

Garbage Service is $19.54 per month. Optional 95 gallon cart is an additional charge. You will receive one bill each quarter in advance. Payment for the quarter is due by the 20th of the first month. If not paid by due date, a $3.00 late fee will be applied. If an account is not paid by the 20th of the second month, the account will be suspended. There is a $15.00 fee to reinstate the account. Payments can be made online, money order by mail, or by credit/debit over the phone (fee applied for cc/dc payments).

 

The decision has been made to base any further rate adjustment off the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for services. The CPI is set by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and is released annually.

An estimated CPI was applied to your 2023 1st quarter bill. However, when the official CPI was released in February 2023, it was 1% higher that originally estimated.

In light of the new information, your 2023 2nd quarter bill has a rate adjustment of 54 cents for January - March. Your monthly rate has also been adjusted by 18 cents.

New residential rates will be set each January according to the estimated annual CPI and adjusted every April 1st to reflect the actual rate.
